Located at the SLS Hotel a Luxury Collection Hotel in Beverly Hills, this position is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling catering sales opportunities. The role focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable the achievement of sales objectives. You will ensure business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery, conducting day-to-day activities that drive personal sales goals.
Your day will involve researching and developing new leads, participating in sales calls to acquire new business, and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue potential. You will execute and support the operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals and writing contracts. A key part of your mission is to understand the overall market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and to identify new business that aligns with location needs and market conditions.
Beyond sales, you will execute the brand's Customer Service Standards and property's Brand Standards, setting a positive example for guest relations. You will interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels, ensuring that every interaction reflects the high standards of the Luxury Collection.
