This position is located at The Ritz-Carlton Maui Kapalua. As a member of our Food and Beverage & Culinary team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our luxury service. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of all dining areas, china, glass, and silver prior to use. Your day will involve setting up and maintaining work areas, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures, and completing closing duties such as storing reusable goods, breaking down equipment, and securing the facility.
Beyond operational tasks, you will be the face of our brand, welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards. You will communicate with clarity and professionalism, answer telephones with appropriate etiquette, and foster positive working relationships with your team to reach common goals. You will also ensure adherence to all company, safety, and security policies, reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions immediately.
