This position is located at The Ritz-Carlton Maui Kapalua. As a team member, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in the food and beverage environment. Your day will involve completing closing duties, such as storing reusable goods, breaking down items, and ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and returned to its location. You will also be tasked with setting up and stocking work areas, inspecting china, glass, and silver prior to use, and maintaining a clean-as-you-go environment throughout your shift.
Beyond operational duties, you will be the face of the hotel, welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards. You will communicate with clarity and professionalism, answer telephones with appropriate etiquette, and foster positive working relationships with your colleagues to support the team in reaching common goals. You will also be expected to adhere to all company safety and security policies, report any accidents or unsafe conditions, and maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
