Cashier/Customer Service Associate

About the Role

Family Dollar is seeking Cashiers to assist customers, operate cash registers, and support daily store operations. This position is designed to provide essential customer service while maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the store environment. Cashiers play a vital role in the daily flow of the store, ensuring that customers have a positive experience from greeting to checkout.

Day in the Life

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for greeting customers, scanning merchandise, and providing assistance with product questions. Your primary duties include operating cash registers, processing cash and card payments, and card payments, and handling returns. Beyond the register, you will assist with stocking shelves when needed, unloading deliveries, organizing merchandise, and helping maintain store cleanliness.
