About the Role
Family Dollar is seeking Cashiers to assist customers, operate cash registers, and support daily store operations. This position is pivotal in maintaining a welcoming environment for shoppers while ensuring the efficient flow of daily store activities. The role involves a blend of customer interaction, transaction processing, and operational support to keep the store organized and clean.
Day in the Life
As a Cashier, you will greet customers warmly, scan merchandise, and process cash and card payments with accuracy. You will also handle returns and assist customers with product questions, providing helpful and friendly service. Beyond the register, you may assist with unloading deliveries, organizing merchandise, and helping maintain store cleanliness and checkout area organization and cleanliness. This position requires flexibility to support various store needs as they arise.
