The Program and Property Services department at the Tampa Housing Authority (THA) is dedicated to the assessment and delivery of supportive and medical services. Our mission is to meet the diverse needs of residents while actively promoting their physical and economic welfare. We work closely with local, state, and federal partners to ensure compliance with HUD operating guidelines, particularly regarding relocation, displacement, and special projects.
Reporting to the Case Management Programs Manager, this position serves as a vital link between the Housing Authority and the families, youth, seniors, and persons with disabilities we serve. The role is designed to navigate the complexities of case management and supportive services, ensuring that every client has a clear path toward self-sufficiency.
In this capacity, you will develop and coordinate comprehensive case management functions. Your day will involve conducting screenings and assessments to determine eligibility for community resources, creating tailored plans of action, and monitoring progress. You will maintain a continuum of care by collaborating with a wide network of community providers to address health, financial literacy, and employability needs.
Beyond individual case management, you will play an active role in outreach and engagement. This includes assisting with marketing campaigns to inform relocated residents about available services, organizing workshops and seminars, and participating in service fairs. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records in the ETO database and ensuring all activities align with THA policies and HUD regulations.
Candidates selected for this position must successfully complete a Level II Background Clearance. The role requires a valid Florida Driver's License that is insurable under the agency's insurance policy.
