Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist residents with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
- check_circlePerform regular safety checks and assist with fire or safety drills
- check_circleRespond promptly to resident needs while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality
- check_circleRead and follow individual care plans to ensure proper care delivery
- check_circleProvide mealtime assistance including serving, eating support, and clearing trays
- check_circleTransport residents safely using proper lifting and transferring techniques
- check_circleManage oxygen tanks and concentrators according to medical orders
- check_circleEncourage and lead residents in meaningful daily activities and community events
- check_circleChart and document resident information and report changes in condition to supervisors
Requirements
- verifiedAge 18 or over with work authorization
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedCurrent first aid certification
- verifiedBackground clearances as required by government regulations
- verifiedNegative TB test results (within last 6 months or 7 days of employment)
- verifiedAbility to read and speak English
- verifiedAbility to follow oral and written directions
- verifiedMust meet and maintain all state specific regulatory requirements
- verifiedNurses Aid certification preferred
- verifiedPrior Caregiving experience preferred
