About the Role
Right at Home is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a dynamic care team dedicated to providing clinical expertise directly in the home. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your career by helping individuals maintain their independence and comfort within the familiar surroundings of their own homes.
As a CNA, you will be the vital link between clinical care and daily living. Your day will involve performing essential personal care activities to assist patients with their activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and ambulation. You will also prepare meals and snacks according to specific instructions, accompany patients on errands or medical appointments, and perform light housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean environment.
Beyond daily care, you will execute patient-specific tasks taught by Right at Home staff. This may include providing hospice supportive care, administering medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, and caring for bed-bound patients. You will also utilize specialized lifting equipment, such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts, to ensure the safety and dignity of those you serve.
