About the Role

As a Papa Pal Care Companion, you playmate, you will provide companionship and assistance to seniors in their homes. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy connecting with others and making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. You will serve as a friendly face, offering support with daily tasks and engaging in activities that bring joy and comfort to our members.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day interactions will focus on enhancing the quality of life for your assigned member. This includes providing transportation to medical appointments, errands, or social engagements. You will assist with light household tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and light cleaning to help maintain a comfortable living environment. Additionally, you may help with technology, such as setting up video calls or using apps, to keep members connected with their loved ones.

Beyond practical assistance, a significant part of the role is companionship. You will engage in meaningful conversations, watch movies together, play board games, or cards, and go for walks. You may also assist with pet care, such as walking dogs or filling food and water bowls. The goal is to create a supportive and enjoyable environment where members feel valued and cared for.
