About the Role

As a Papa Pal Care Companion, you playmate, you will provide companionship and assistance to members in their homes. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy connecting with others and making a positive impact on someone's day. No prior healthcare experience is required, required, making this an accessible opportunity for those looking to enter the caregiving field or simply contribute to their community.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of practical assistance and meaningful social interaction. You might help a member by picking up groceries or medications, or providing a ride to the doctor's office, the bank, or other essential appointments. You may also assist with light household tasks such as laundry, light cleaning, meal preparation, and organization.

Beyond tasks, a significant part of the role is companionship. You will engage in great conversations, watch movies, play board games, or play board games. You might assist a member with technology, such as helping them download apps, video call, or send emails. You may also care for a member's pet by walking them or filling their food and water bowls.
