About the Role
As a Papa Pal Care Companion, you playmate, you will provide companionship and support to older adults in their homes. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy connecting with people and making a meaningful difference in their daily lives. You will serve as a friendly face, helping members stay active, engaged, and independent in their own homes.
Day in the Life
Your day might involve picking up groceries or medications, giving members a lift to the doctor's office or from appointments, or assisting with light household tasks like laundry and meal preparation. You might also help members navigate technology, such as setting up video calls or using apps, or simply spend time engaging in conversation, watching movies, playing games, or going for a walk. The focus is on building a genuine connection and providing the support needed to make life a little easier and more enjoyable.
