About the Role
As a Papa Pal Care Companion, you playmate, you will provide companionship and assistance to members in their homes. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy connecting with others and making a positive impact on the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. You will serve as a friendly face, offering support with daily tasks and engaging in meaningful activities that enhance the member's quality of life.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day interactions will focus on building a genuine relationship with your assigned member. You might assist with light household tasks, such as laundry, meal preparation, and light cleaning, or help with errands like picking up groceries and medications. You may also provide transportation to medical appointments, banks, or other local destinations.
Beyond practical assistance, a significant part of the role involves social engagement. You will spend time conversing, watching movies, playing board games, or going for walks. You might also help members navigate technology, such as setting up video calls or sending emails, ensuring they stay connected with their loved ones.
