About the Role
As a Papa Pal Care Companion, you playmate, you will provide companionship and assistance to seniors in their own homes. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy connecting with others and making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. Whether you are looking for flexible part-time work or simply want to help your community, this position offers the opportunity to build genuine relationships while supporting members with daily tasks.
What You Will Do
Your primary focus will be on companionship and light assistance. You might engage in meaningful conversations, watch movies, play board games, or sports, play board games, or go for a walk together. Beyond social interaction, you may assist with light household tasks such as laundry, light cleaning, meal preparation, and organization. You might also help members with practical errands, such as picking up groceries or medications, or providing transportation to appointments like the doctor's office or the bank. Additionally, you may assist members with technology, such as helping them download apps, use video calls, or send emails, or other digital tools. You might also help care for a member's pet by walking them or filling their food and water bowls.
