About the Role
As a Papa Pal Care Companion, you playmate, you will provide companionship and support to members in their homes. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy connecting with others and making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. You will serve as a friendly face, offering assistance with daily tasks and engaging in activities that bring joy and ease to the member's life.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day interactions will focus on enhancing the member's quality of life through practical support and social engagement. You may assist with light household tasks such as laundry, light cleaning, meal preparation, and organization. You will also help members with errands, including picking up groceries or medications, and providing transportation to appointments like the doctor's office or the bank.
Beyond practical assistance, you will provide companionship. companionship through conversation, watching movies, playing board games, or going for walks. You may also assist members with technology, such as helping them download apps, use video calls, or send emails, or care for their pets by walking them or filling food and water bowls.
