About the Role
As a Papa Pal Care Companion, you playmate, you will provide companionship and assistance to members in their homes. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy connecting with others and making a positive impact on their daily lives. No prior healthcare experience is required, required, making this an accessible opportunity for those looking to enter the caregiving field or simply help their community.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a mix of practical assistance and meaningful social interaction. You might help a member pick up groceries or medications, or provide a ride to the doctor's office, the bank, or other essential appointments. You may also assist with light household tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and light organization.
Beyond tasks, a significant part of the role is companionship. You will engage in great conversations, watch movies, play board games, or watch movies together. You might assist a member with technology, such as teaching them how to use video calls or send emails. You may also help care for a member's pet by walking them or filling their food and water bowls.
