About the Role
This position serves as a vital part of the Electrocardiography department at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado. As an onsite team member, you will perform direct patient care, focusing on electrocardiograms (ECGs), stress testing, and cardiac monitoring. Your work ensures that providers receive accurate data to guide patient treatment.
In this fast-paced environment, you will review provider orders and perform ancillary tests while educating patients on procedures and equipment to ensure their understanding and cooperation. You will prepare equipment, position patients, and analyze results, identifying issues with tracing quality and taking corrective action as needed. The role requires critical thinking and decisive judgment to monitor patient conditions, report changes in status, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. You will also have the opportunity to assist in precepting new hires and student interns, helping to grow the next generation of cardiac technicians.

Requirements
