About the Role
As a Cardiac Technician, you will be an essential part of our diagnostic and therapeutic team. You will conduct a wide range of non-invasive cardiac tests under direct supervision, utilizing diverse cardiology equipment to monitor patient heart functions. Your day will involve placing electrodes for electrocardiograms (EKG) and telemetry monitoring, operating machines with precision, and ensuring all equipment is calibrated for accurate results.
Beyond technical execution, you will provide care and counseling to ensure patient comfort and safety during tests. You will be responsible for obtaining patient histories, interpreting EKG results, and generating factual written reports. In critical moments, you will monitor multiple patients simultaneously, interpreting rhythms and communicating concerns effectively to nurses and physicians to ensure timely interventions.

Requirements

- verifiedWorking knowledge of computers

- verifiedOne of the following: Certified Cardiographic Technician, Associate's degree in health science, or three years' experience as a cardiac technician
- verifiedObtain CCT, CRAT, or National Telemetry Certification within one year
