You will be part of a dedicated team focused on the efficient and safe unloading of cars containing brick and shapes. This position is critical to maintaining the flow of materials within the department, requiring a strong operational knowledge of all transfer cars and haulage systems.
In this role, you will operate utility forklifts to move pallets and dump hoppers as needed. You will also be responsible for vacuuming car decks and performing thorough cleaning of cars whenever time permits. The role demands flexibility, as you must be willing to assist with other jobs within the department to support overall production goals.
Communication is a key part of your daily routine; you will regularly coordinate with supervision regarding production metrics, quality standards, and safety concerns. The team adheres to weekly TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and 5S protocols as outlined by management to ensure a high standard of operational excellence.
