About Marbles Kids Museum

Marbles Kids Museum is a vibrant, nonprofit children's museum and IMAX Theatre located in the heart of downtown Raleigh. Since opening its doors in 2007, Marbles has been sparking imagination, discovery, and learning through play. The museum serves a diverse population of families, school groups, and community organizations through award-winning play-based exhibits, summer camps, IMAX documentaries, feature movies, and special events year-round. Today, Marbles ranks among the top family destinations in North Carolina, providing learning experiences for children with creative programs and larger-than-life movies.

About Camp Marbles

Playful, fun, creative, and original, Camp Marbles has long been the community's favorite summer camp. The program offers weekly themed camps featuring museum exhibit visits and active outdoor play for children aged 3–9. Campers explore engaging activities with a fun mix of hands-on play, crafts, and games. The summer camp season runs from June 1st through August 28th, 2026.

The Opportunity

As a Summer Camp Leadership Intern, you will work directly with the Camp Marbles leadership team to assist with camp operations. This role offers a unique chance to gain experience in informal education through a mix of hands-on play, crafts, and games with campers. In addition to direct camper interaction, you will develop personal and professional skills by supporting the leadership team with administrative projects. Please note that this is an unpaid internship designed for academic credit.
