About Mastery

Founded in 2001, Mastery Schools is a public charter network of 23 K-12 schools in Philadelphia and Camden, serving more than 14,000 students. Our mission is to provide all students with the academic and personal skills they need to succeed after graduation and pursue their dreams. The Opportunity

The NGSS approach empowers students to become active participants in their own learning, fostering deep understanding, critical thinking, and a lifelong passion for scientific exploration. From the moment they enter our buildings, our young scientists engage with the core ideas and crosscutting concepts of science through engagement in the practices of science and engineering.

Our K-12 program includes NGSS-aligned curricula that allows our students to actively engage in hands-on experiments, data analysis, and problem-solving, mirroring the experiences of real scientists. Students tackle real-world challenges, enhancing their problem-solving skills and developing a deeper appreciation for the relevance and impact of science in their lives.

You will work alongside our Specialized Services and School Culture teams to ensure your students receive the help they need to thrive.
