We are seeking a dynamic Buyer II to join our team in Tampa, FL, or The Woodlands, TX (with remote options available for highly qualified candidates). This role is designed for individuals with a passion for progress and specific experience in the deep foundation or heavy civil industry.
The Buyer II serves as a trusted partner to Tendering Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, and Operations personnel. Beyond transactional purchasing, you will independently manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for pre-construction and active projects. Your work will require sound judgment in navigating Request for Quote (RFQ) processes, bid analysis, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations. You will balance cost-efficiency with supplier reliability, fostering long-term vendor relationships while operating with minimal supervision.
