About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Analyst to join our team, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of business logic within our rules engine applications. This role is critical for ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and accuracy of our business rules. You will work closely with Product Managers, Product Systems, Product Strategy, IT, Sales, Underwriting, and Actuarial partners to translate business requirements into high-quality, maintainable C# code.
Depending on your qualifications and experience, this position may be filled at the Analyst or Senior Analyst level. You will have the opportunity to handle specialized responsibilities, potentially owning specific industries, transaction types, or coverage segments. The role involves not only building robust solutions but also optimizing existing rules for performance and troubleshooting execution issues. You will be expected to self-direct your work, balancing the "build" and "run" stages of business environments while formulating strategic recommendations based on data and market insights.
Work Model
This position is hybrid, requiring you to be based out of any AmTrust office. The schedule consists of 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.

Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of 3 years of experience in a related analytical, business, or developer role
- verifiedStrong understanding of business rules engines and rule-based programming
- verifiedModerate (or better) knowledge of SQL and C#
- verifiedFamiliarity with design patterns and best coding practices
- verifiedBachelor's degree preferably in a discipline requiring critical thinking and analytical skills
- verifiedExperience in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines Product (Management or Development), Pricing, and/or Underwriting

Nice to Have

Moderate (or better) knowledge of PowerBI or similar data visualization and reporting tools. Experience writing and modifying queries in SQL Server Management Studio.
