About the Role

The Business Development Manager I serves as a strategic partner to business unit market leaders, focusing on developing and supporting positioning strategies to secure project work with both existing and potential customers. This role acts as the vital liaison between business development, pre-construction, and marketing teams, requiring you to provide deep market sector insights and analyze trends to guide decision-making.

In this position, you will establish and nurture strategic business partnerships, identifying new market opportunities while converting potential leads into actionable contacts for sector leaders. You will play an integral role in the development team, managing performance, offering coaching, and building relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels. Success in this role requires a blend of strategic planning, precise communication, and the ability to interpret company policies while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
