This position serves as a vital support function for the Pathfinder residential units, ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our living spaces. The role focuses on the repair and maintenance of structural woodwork, cabinets, and general building infrastructure. Whether working independently or collaborating with a team, the incumbent is responsible for a wide range of hands-on tasks that keep our facilities in top condition.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of carpentry, general maintenance, and tenant services. You will build, repair, and install counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, and doors. Routine maintenance is a core part of the schedule, including replacing damaged ceiling and floor tiles, repairing wall coverings like sheet rock, and installing window glass.
The role also extends to finishing touches that enhance the tenant experience, such as installing venetian blinds, curtain rods, wall fans, and hanging pictures. Additionally, you will perform painting duties on woodwork, walls, and buildings, as well as assist with plumbing equipment and roof repairs as directed. This position operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, supplemented by specialized schooling and/or on-the-job education in a specific skill area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
