About the Role
As an Operating Engineer, you will be a vital part of our facilities team, ensuring the seamless operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role exists to maintain the safety, functionality, and comfort of our assigned properties. You will perform both preventative and corrective maintenance, assisting mechanics in repair efforts while independently executing defined tasks. Your day-to-day involves a dynamic mix of hands-on technical work, from cleaning HVAC coils and repairing plumbing components to painting surfaces and managing building security systems. You will prioritize work orders, update status in real-time using our CMMS, and serve as a key point of contact for escalating issues to ensure timely resolution for our customers and managers.
