About the Team
Bluewater Federal supports the USAF at Maxwell AFB through the Base Maintenance (BMx) Family of Systems program. This initiative provides critical lifecycle support for enterprise U.S. Air Force logistics and maintenance systems, enabling global mission readiness and sustainment operations.
About the Role
As a Build & Release Engineer, you will be the backbone of our deployment operations, ensuring the seamless execution of software builds, packaging, and release promotions. Your work directly impacts the stability and reliability of systems that drive mission readiness.
In this role, you will coordinate deployment sequencing across development, staging, and production environments. You will maintain robust build automation and CI/CD pipeline processes while managing artifact repositories and source control branching strategies. When issues arise, you will troubleshoot deployment and pipeline challenges to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will support release validation, readiness reviews, rollback planning, and operational stabilization activities following deployments.
Hiring Process
Candidates with an active Secret clearance and relevant experience in build/release management are encouraged to apply. The selection process prioritizes candidates who can immediately contribute to the stability of critical Air Force systems.
