About the Team
Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, is part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, an integrated health system formed by the merger of two award-winning health systems: CHI Franciscan and Virginia Mason. Our radiology department is a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment comprising a collegial team of 28 dedicated providers and staff. We are a teaching environment with regular opportunities to precept medical students and residents. About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our care team. This role is designed for providers who value a team-based approach and wish to deliver unmatched quality while pioneering innovation. You will collaborate to provide comprehensive screening, diagnostic, and interventional services for a wide variety of patients.
The position offers a unique blend of clinical practice and professional growth. You will participate in multidisciplinary conferences with in-house medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and pathologists. While your primary focus will be breast imaging, you have the option to read exams in other areas of radiology depending on your professional goals and training. This role is particularly conducive for providers newly out of residency, offering a supportive culture for growth.
A key highlight of this position is the opportunity to engage in clinical and quality improvement research. We pride ourselves on achieving excellence while having fun at work. The role operates at 0.8 - 1.0 FTE and requires no in-house call.
