About the Role
Our client is seeking a Full-Time Bookkeeper to join their accounting team in Albuquerque, NM. This onsite role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in transactional accounting, enjoys ownership of the day-to-day books, and works well in a deadline-driven environment.
In this position, you will ensure clean books, reliable reporting, and smooth monthly closes by working closely with the Controller and the broader accounting team. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of daily financial transactions across multiple business units, managing high-volume payments, and maintaining organized documentation for all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleRecord and manage consumer revenue transactions in QuickBooks
- check_circleAccurately enter cash receipts with proper general ledger coding
- check_circleProcess vendor invoices and prepare weekly check runs
- check_circleMatch supplier invoices to payments and maintain organized documentation
- check_circleManage high-volume payments and disbursements tied to scheduled events
- check_circleCollect, track, and maintain W-9s and support annual 1099 reporting
- check_circleSupport month-end close and financial reporting activities
- check_circleProactively review transactions to ensure accuracy before posting
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance OR 4+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- verifiedExperience with high-volume transactional accounting
- verifiedProficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- verifiedPrior experience handling W-9s and 1099s preferred
