This position is designed for a skilled commercial driver to transport and deliver hazardous materials (specifically diesel) to customers within our Midland market. You will operate a Class B tanker (bobtail), applying your expertise in commercial driving and deep knowledge of Hazmat safety and DOT regulations. The role requires you to partner with logistics teams to ensure customer needs are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
You will work a rotational schedule of 2 weeks on and 1 week off. During your on-duty weeks, you will be responsible for local and regional routes in and around Midland, TX, with occasional longer routes as needed within DOT hours of service. This role demands a significant commitment, with shifts totaling 70-80 hours per week.
Candidates must be registered on the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse prior to starting. The selection process includes a DOT physical exam, drug and alcohol testing, and a background check. Successful applicants must also demonstrate the ability to meet the physical demands of the industry and be insurable with the company.
