As a Biomedical Technician (PRN) within the BioMed department, you will serve as a critical partner in maintaining the safety and reliability of our clinical environment. This role goes beyond standard repairs; you will handle the most complex and critical maintenance tasks, ensuring that high-end equipment and clinical networks operate seamlessly to support patient care. You will drive customer satisfaction by delivering Service Excellence, acting as a representative for the department both internally and externally.
In this position, you will not only perform advanced diagnostics and repairs but also lead and mentor other technicians. You may oversee Level I or II technicians, delegate tasks, and manage vendor service delivery processes. Your day-to-day involves proactive communication with department management to ensure proper follow-up and resolution of issues, fostering strong interdepartmental relations. You will also contribute to the development of preventive maintenance (PM) procedures, training documents, and Alternative Equipment Maintenance (AEM) plans, helping to optimize resources and implement facility business goals.
