About the Role
The IN OFFICE Commercial Closing Paralegal/Processor is a pivotal role designed to facilitate the end-to-end commercial real estate closing process. This position serves as the operational backbone for gathering, processing, and preparing all necessary documentation, ensuring a seamless transition from pre-closing review to post-closing execution. The role exists to bridge the gap between complex legal requirements and efficient transaction completion, acting as the primary liaison to lenders, title agents, and attorneys throughout the lifecycle of a deal.
In this high-pressure environment, you will thrive on managing shifting priorities and solving complex problems. Your day-to-day involves examining title reports, surveys, and zoning certificates to identify and clear title issues, while coordinating the recording of documents and wiring of funds. You will serve as a knowledgeable expert on title matters unique to corporate entities, explaining chain of title exceptions and requirements to managers and underwriters. Success in this role requires a self-driven individual who can work with minimal direction while maintaining excellent customer service standards in every interaction with staff, clients, and external partners.
