The Behavioral Health Technician is a vital member of our clinical team, responsible for the observation and monitoring of patients in treatment. You will contribute to the welfare of the organization by assisting patients in a variety of activities and helping to maintain a safe and secure environment.
In this role, you will work effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure the success of the facility. Your day will involve communicating and enforcing facility program rules in a firm but fair and professional manner, while also addressing problem behaviors through verbal de-escalation techniques. You will serve as a key link in the clinical team, communicating patient behavior to your immediate supervisor and ensuring that all documentation is timely, consistent, clear, accurate, and legible.

Coursework or degree in behavioral health or related field. 3+ years of experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or a related field. Prior experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or human services in roles with emphasis involving direct customer or client service experience. CNA, MA, Certified Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT), Mental Health Technician Certification (MHTC), trauma-informed care training/certification or in process of obtaining. Experience working with adult patients (18+). Good driving record that meets safety and company insurance standards. CPR and Standard First Aid certification or in process of obtaining.
