About the Role
As a Behavioral Aide, you will be the backbone of support for students with special needs in K-12 school settings. This role exists to ensure that students with learning, social, emotional, or behavioral challenges receive the consistent, personalized care required to succeed in the classroom.
In this position, you will work closely with teachers and clinical staff to implement behavior intervention plans and provide one-on-one instructional support. Your day will involve applying ABA methodologies to support targeted behavior goals, monitoring students during class and breaks, and responding to crisis situations with calm professionalism. You will be a vital link in the educational team, recording daily data and communicating progress to help students build the skills they need to thrive.
