We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, and dependable pet bather to join our team. This role is designed for someone with a service-first attitude and an unmatched love for animals who is willing to learn. You will play a vital part in our grooming process, helping to return pups to their owners in a clean, healthy, and comfortable state.
In this position, you will perform basic bathing and grooming services on a variety of dog sizes and coat types. You will support our professional grooming staff, utilizing approved restraint techniques and PPE to maintain a safe environment for both our guests and our team. Beyond the grooming table, you will engage in client consultations, advising pet parents on the best services for their dogs and communicating any issues that arise during appointments. You will also manage scheduling and invoicing through our kennel software, while maintaining a clean, disinfected, and organized workspace.
When not bathing dogs, you will be expected to assist with other facility needs, such as laundry, front office support, and monitoring play spaces. This is a physically demanding role requiring the stamina to stand for multiple hours and handle dogs of all sizes.
Starting pay is $17.00/hr with the potential for tips on services performed. All team members enjoy discounted daycare and boarding for their own dogs. Additional benefits, including medical/vision/dental plans and 401k, are available for full-time employees.
