As a Center Medical Specialist, you will play a vital role in one of our plasma donation centers. This position is designed for those seeking something different who want to utilize their medical skill set to make a tangible impact. You will be the medical face of the center, responsible for ensuring donor safety and satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of care.
In this role, you will perform physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability. A key part of your day involves building rapport with donors to ensure an overall positive customer experience. You will provide donor education regarding general health, counsel donors on unacceptable test results, and manage any donor injuries or adverse events. Additionally, you will assist in employee training and administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.
