About the Role

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service while establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. In this role, you will assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals while monitoring all established quality assurance standards. You will demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

You will create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store. Whether offering product samples to help customers discover new items, preparing bakery items like wedding cakes per customer requests, or decorating cakes and pastries, your work ensures customers get the products they want and need. You will also maintain awareness of inventory conditions, adhere to health and civil code regulations, and reinforce safety programs by identifying unsafe conditions and notifying management.
