About the Role

As an Automotive Technician at MobilityWorks, you will join a team passionate about making a positive impact on customers' lives. This role involves highly skilled mechanical work, ranging from diagnosing complex maintenance issues and conducting vehicle inspections to operating specialized equipment. Career Progression: The Tech Tier Program

We offer a structured path for growth through our Tech Tier Program, designed to support technicians at every stage of their journey:

• Apprenticeship Mechanic: An entry-level role for students in accredited technical programs, offering hands-on mentoring and on-the-job experience to introduce the mobility industry.
• Service Mechanic: For entry-level mechanics seeking to acquire automotive repair skills alongside an introduction to mobility. This role includes mechanical repairs, general diagnosis, and adaptive equipment installations.
• Mobility Technician: For those who have completed Service Mechanic requirements and primary driving control training. Responsibilities expand to include installations of electronic and mechanical primary driving controls and driver fittings.
• Certified Mobility Technician: Requires at least six months of hands-on experience. These technicians perform OEM electronic repairs and mentor others under supervision.
• Advanced Mobility Technician: Requires 24 months of hands-on experience. This level involves complex installations, repairs, and mentorship duties.
• Master Mobility Technician: The highest level of expertise, requiring no supervision. These technicians perform any mobility installation or repair and hold advanced certifications such as EMC and specific ASE credentials.

As you progress through these levels, you will unlock incentives including patches, toll reimbursement, additional PTO accrual, and opportunities for the President's Club trip.

Hiring Process & Application

While OEM and ASE certifications are advantageous, they are not mandatory for entry, and proficiency in 12-volt systems is a valuable asset.
