About the Role
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles. You will work in adherence to MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and Tire Works standards. This role involves performing complex and heavy-duty repairs, explaining technical diagnoses to non-mechanical individuals, and recommending necessary services to keep vehicles in running condition.
Working Conditions
Technicians work in an environment exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, and other hazardous materials. The temperature varies and may include extreme heat or cold depending on ambient conditions. Safety goggles and other personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required. The role demands the ability to stand for up to eight hours, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly, as well as lift and move objects up to 70 pounds.
