As an Automotive Technician at MobilityWorks, you will join a team of mechanics and technicians of varying expertise levels. This role is designed for those passionate about making a positive impact while performing highly skilled mechanical work. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of automotive and related equipment, diagnosing complex issues, conducting vehicle inspections, performing road tests, and operating specialized industry equipment.
The position offers a remarkable work-life balance with regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM), ensuring no late nights or weekends. This structure allows you to spend quality time with your family or pursue interests outside of work. Whether you are an entry-level apprentice or an experienced master technician, you will find a supportive environment where your growth is invested in through our comprehensive Tech Tier Program.
MobilityWorks offers a clear path for professional development through our Tech Tier Program, ranging from Apprenticeship Mechanics to Master Mobility Technicians. As you progress through each career level, you will gain hands-on experience, complete specialized training (such as NMEDA electrical and ASE certifications), and unlock incentives including patches, toll reimbursement, additional PTO accrual, and trips to the President's Club.
We are actively seeking candidates from diverse backgrounds, not limited to the mobility sector. Proficiency in diagnostics is essential, and knowledge of 12-volt systems is a valuable asset.
