MobilityWorks is on a mission to serve the disabled community by providing accessible minivans, full-size vans with lifts, and commercial fleet vehicles. We are committed to empowering wheelchair users with the mobility, independence, and freedom they deserve. Our core values drive us to fulfill this mission and create a positive impact on our customers' lives.
We foster a team-centric environment where every member is highly valued. As an Automotive Technician at MobilityWorks, you will join a team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in people's lives. This role is designed for those passionate about skilled mechanical work and the opportunity to contribute to a cause greater than themselves.
You will perform highly skilled mechanical work, including the maintenance and repair of automotive and related equipment. Your day-to-day will involve diagnosing complex maintenance issues, conducting vehicle inspections, performing road tests, and operating specialized equipment. You will interpret schematics, install electrical wiring systems and panels, and troubleshoot issues related to the work performed. Whether you are an apprentice learning the ropes or a master technician performing complex installations, your work directly enables independence for our customers.
MobilityWorks offers a structured "Tech Tier Program" designed to support your growth from entry-level to expert status:
As you progress through these levels, you will unlock incentives such as patches, toll reimbursement, additional PTO accrual, and eligibility for the President's Club trip.
We offer a remarkable work-life balance with regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM), ensuring no late nights or weekends. This schedule allows you to spend quality time with your family or pursue your interests outside of work. We are an organization that invests in you, providing a fulfilling experience in a supportive team environment.
We are actively seeking mechanics and technicians of different expertise levels to join our team urgently. If you are passionate about making a positive impact and possess proficiency in diagnostics, we invite you to apply. While OEM and ASE certifications are advantageous, they are not mandatory for all levels. Knowledge of 12-volt systems is a valuable asset.
