Passport Automotive Group is a family-owned and rapidly growing auto dealership located in the Washington DC Metro area. This is an exciting time to join our organization as we have recently completed a renovation of our luxurious BMW location. This new world-class facility now houses our accounting staff and corporate employees under one roof, fostering a collaborative environment for our team.
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Accounting Manager to join our finance team. In this role, you will demonstrate hands-on technical accounting knowledge specifically applied to the automotive dealership industry. You will oversee and perform critical financial tasks to ensure monthly reconciliation of cash, accounts receivables, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, manufacturer statements, vehicle sales, deal commissions, and inter-company accounts.
Your responsibilities include leading month-end and year-end procedures to ensure the timely submission of financial statements. You will interpret financial data to support decision-making and ensure that proper internal controls are strictly followed. Beyond technical execution, you will provide leadership and support to ensure the team is successful in achieving its goals and objectives.
