About the Role
Turner & Townsend is seeking an Automation Scheduler to join our team and provide essential scheduling services to our clients. This role is designed for an individual with a strong understanding of project control functions, serving as the primary owner for updating and maintaining construction schedules. You will act as a strategic partner, injecting value and creating solutions while fostering strong working relationships with the project team.
Project Context
You will be supporting a high-value program with a dollar value of $1.5 billion, operating within the pharmaceutical, oil and gas, or data center market sectors. The position requires a deep dive into specific technical domains, including the design and development of Delta V schedules for PLC/DCS controlled processes. Your work will involve defining task sequences and timing logic in accordance with process requirements and P&IDs, as well as developing fully integrated IT and Automation Commissioning sequences.
Day-to-Day Impact
In this role, you will coordinate and organize multiple sources of schedule inputs and performance data into a master schedule platform. You will be responsible for delivering project and program status reports, performing critical path and probabilistic analyses on integrated schedules, and ensuring the integrity of contractor schedules within the Program suite. A key part of your day involves collaborating with Process Engineers, validation teams, and QA to translate User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Functional Design Specifications (FDS) into planning logic. Additionally, you will support the implementation of an integrated enterprise-based, cross-functional, and EPC master schedule program while adhering to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
