As an Auto Technician at CarMax, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our high standards of vehicle safety and customer satisfaction are met. You will work with top-of-the-line technology in well-equipped facilities to service, diagnose, and repair vehicles while consistently providing a superior customer experience.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex mechanical diagnostics and clear communication. You will explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers, ensuring transparency and trust. Your work involves not only fixing vehicles but also inspecting and testing new vehicles for necessary adjustments and providing accurate labor and time estimates for additional repairs.

We value continuous growth and encourage technicians to stay abreast of rapidly changing technology through formal training sessions. ASE Certification (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) is strongly preferred for those looking to demonstrate their expertise.
