As an Auto Technician at CarMax, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our high standards of vehicle safety and customer satisfaction are met. You will work with top-of-the-line technology in well-equipped facilities to service, diagnose, and repair vehicles while consistently providing a superior customer experience.
In this role, you will serve as a key bridge between complex mechanical issues and our customers. Your day will involve diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems with precision, then translating those technical findings into clear, non-technical explanations for service advisors and vehicle owners. You will also be responsible for inspecting new vehicles for necessary adjustments and providing accurate labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
We value continuous growth and encourage technicians to stay abreast of rapidly changing technology through formal training sessions. ASE Certification is strongly preferred, reflecting our commitment to industry excellence.
