About the Role
Cox Automotive is seeking an Auto Maintenance Technician II to join a fast-paced automotive environment where precision and efficiency drive success. In this role, you will serve as a key contributor to the Automotive department, performing preventive maintenance and light repairs on a wide range of vehicles. Your work ensures operational excellence by inspecting, diagnosing, and servicing complex mechanical and electrical systems while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.
You will collaborate closely with service advisors and teammates to ensure accurate estimates and timely completion of work. By leveraging modern tools, technology, and digital shop management systems, you will support overall operational efficiency. The position also offers the opportunity to provide guidance and informal support to junior technicians, helping to build the overall capability of the team.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform scheduled maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- check_circleDiagnose and repair intermediate-level mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
- check_circleConduct brake, suspension, steering, and alignment inspections and complete related repairs
- check_circleUse scan tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot engine and drivability concerns
- check_circlePerform HVAC system checks and basic A/C service in accordance with regulations
- check_circleCollaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate estimates and timely work completion
- check_circleProvide guidance and informal support to junior technicians to build team capability
- check_circleDocument findings, repair recommendations, labor, and parts used in digital systems
Requirements
