The Audit Remediation & KRI Reporting Lead serves as a critical bridge between IT operations, governance, and external regulatory bodies. In this 12+ month hybrid role based in New York, you will drive the strategic remediation of IT audit findings across complex infrastructure domains, including networks, cloud environments, and security controls.
Your primary mission is to ensure the organization maintains a robust compliance posture aligned with frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, SOX IT, FFIEC, and NYDFS regulations. Beyond managing remediation roadmaps, you will design and maintain Key Risk Indicator (KRI) frameworks, transforming raw data into actionable executive-level reporting for CIO leadership and governance committees.
You will act as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, coordinating evidence collection and managing remediation timelines. A significant portion of your time will be spent partnering with IT managers to translate audit findings into operational action plans, ensuring accountability and driving the implementation of practical, cost-effective solutions. You will also monitor evolving regulatory requirements to provide proactive risk recommendations, ensuring the organization stays ahead of emerging threats.
