This position serves as a Fixed Term Instructor or Assistant Professor within the English Language Center (ELC). The role is integral to the university's mission of serving a global community, focusing on teaching within the Intensive English Program (IEP), the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program, and special contract programs.
Instructors will engage in organizational meetings and skills coordination sessions, while also proctoring the Michigan State University English Language Test (MSUELT). The position is designed to recur every Summer Semester, offering a dynamic environment for educators dedicated to supporting international students and constituents similar to those served by the ELC. Instructors will be evaluated by Skills Coordinators and/or Teaching Coordinators to ensure high standards of pedagogical excellence.
