The Boeing Company is seeking several Associate Real Time Software Engineers for a Phantom Works program. This role is located in Hazelwood, MO, Cambridge, MA, or Mesa, AZ, and focuses on developing Vehicle Management System (VMS) software to support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. The VMS provides critical flight and subsystem control for the platform.
As an Associate Real Time Software Engineer, you will join a team dedicated to advancing aerospace technology. You will work under general direction to develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for complex software systems. Your work will involve integrating software components into fully functional systems and providing technical leadership for software projects.
You will serve as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations. Additionally, you will support the generation and maintenance of software processes, tools, and metrics, while tracking and evaluating software teams to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards. A key part of this role involves training and mentoring others to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
To be considered for this position, you will be required to complete a technical assessment known as the CodeVue Coding Challenge as part of the selection process. Failure to complete this assessment will remove you from consideration.

This position requires the ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
