About the Role
The Director, Associate General Counsel – Real Estate is a key member of Lennar's in-house legal team, serving as a strategic partner to Division and Region leadership. This role exists to provide practical, business-oriented legal support that moves communities from deal evaluation through closing and development execution. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to structure, negotiate, and close transactions while managing legal risk and overseeing outside counsel.
In this position, you will lead a workstream or regional portfolio within the Real Estate practice area. Your day-to-day involves translating legal requirements, deal risks, and commercial considerations into clear, actionable guidance for business leaders. You will oversee complex agreements, manage matter-level financial responsibilities, and develop legal standards and playbooks to ensure consistent application of policies across the organization.
