The Associate Director, Portfolio Administration & Oversight serves as Community Holdings Management's (CHM) internal accountability and monitoring authority. This position is designed to centralize administrative oversight of portfolio health, risk indicators, compliance tracking, insurance administration, and asset-level controls. By functioning as the central point of record, the role ensures operational, financial, staffing, and compliance standards are consistently tracked, documented, escalated, and resolved.
This role exists to identify early risk indicators, stabilize underperforming or high-risk assets, and reduce exposure for CHM and ownership through disciplined systems. Unlike operational roles, this position does not assume direct control of properties but rather exercises authority through systems, standards, and accountability. By centralizing oversight that was previously fragmented, the role reduces organizational risk, increases consistency, and enables executive leadership to focus on strategic growth rather than operational firefighting.
Success in this role requires frequent travel to inspect properties and surrounding neighborhoods, as well as attending meetings with owners, agencies, and partners. The position may require availability on weekends for meetings, staffing needs, and emergencies. The role involves regular interaction with various stakeholders, including Operations, HR, Finance, and external partners, requiring the ability to navigate conflict with professionalism and discretion.
CHM is an equal opportunity employer. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. All duties and responsibilities are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
